This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.

Job Description: Bookkeeper

--- A Rockaway,NJ Distribution Company is looking for a full-time experience Bookkeeper
--- This is a position within a thriving company, so individuals applying must have the desire to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:
-Generate accounts payable and resolve accounts payable related issues.
-Process vendor invoices, expense reports and commissions, as well as accounts payable check runs.
-Processes all Bank deposits, including incoming wire transfers.
-Collect delinquent accounts, and resolve A/R issues.
-Assist accounting manager with special projects as required.
-Ability to resolve practical problems independently.
-Run Paychex payroll bi-weekly when needed.

Job Requirements:
--- 3-7 years bookkeeping experience.
--- Accounting Degree not required.
--- MAPICS AS400 experience a plus but not required.
--- Paychex experience a plus but not required.
--- Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and word a must).
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
--- Ability to work alone or with little supervision.
