A busy company in the Boonton area is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their growing company. This Bookkeeper will get the chance to work for a growing team that is enthusiastic and collaborates great with each other. The ideal Bookkeeper will have 2+ years of accounts receivable/bookkeeping experience, and has proficiency in QuickBooks (required). This Bookkeeper must be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment and be able to operate with little supervision as there is no micromanaging here. Responsiblities of this Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to:

• Posting payments
• following up on past due accounts
• reviewing aging reports
• Corroborate monthly accounting close
• Operate monthly accounting close
• Create cash flow projections, as needed
• Ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
• Uphold a general ledger
• Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
