Job Description:

Symmetry Search Group is currently recruiting for a top client of ours in Northern NJ. We are seeking a Cost Accountant. This is an excellent role! You will be responsible for:

• Monthly inventory reconciliation
• Coordinate physical inventory counts, investigate count variances
• Update standard costs in the bills of materials
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
• Validate cost of goods sold for month end
• Explain inventory variance
• Book journal entries / assist in monthly close process
• Review existing internal controls and costing system process Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of 5 years of cost accounting experience - manufacturing industry
  • Experience with SAP a plus
