Job Description:

Located in Blooming Grove, NY General Responsibilities: Prepare, review and file monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting. Specific Responsibilities:

• To compile, examine and prepare financial statements and reports to ensure accurate reporting of the company's financial position.
• Responsibilities to include determining causes for monthly variances in financial statements.
• Analyze General Ledger accounts and reconcile inconsistencies on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Research financial data to assist in developing budget assumptions, reports and projects.
• Communicate and coordinate interaction with other departments to ensure financial compliance within a corporate setting.
• SOX compliancy.
• Ability to assist with special projects as assigned or directed.
• Related additional responsibilities as assigned by immediate Supervisor.
• Understanding expense and revenue issues to ensure resolutions.
• Expected to assist with all month end analysis for review by Controller before financial sign off. Experience/Skills:
  • 4-year degree in Accounting required.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Excel Spreadsheets. Knowledge of Oracle, a plus.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, while working independently and within a team structure is required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. #Li-Hybrid
