Job Description Job Description Our client is looking for a
Junior Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis to join our growing team
in New York City. As a member of the Finance Department, they will
play a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of the
company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Assist
in day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparation and posting
of journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, accounts
payable, and management reporting processes. Collaborate with the
finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and interim
reports and the annual report. Support the implementation and
maintenance of internal controls. Assist with audits. The
qualifications for this position are : Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or Finance. At least two to three years of accounting
experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
and practices. Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
Willingness to learn business and new processes. Strong analytical
/ problem solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent
communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience
with Reval and/or Oracle products a plus.
