We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on exposure to core accounting operations while working within a dynamic, technology-driven organization. As an Accountant, you will support day-to-day accounting functions, contribute to monthly close activities, and partner cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. This is an opportunity to deepen your technical accounting skills while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced SaaS setting. Role Responsibilities: Support daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash transactions. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and maintain balance sheets, reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Support the preparation of internal financial reports and management reporting packages. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities through data analysis and reporting support Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Utilize Sage Intacct accounting systems to maintain accurate financial records and support reporting needs. Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. Required Experience: 1 years of accounting experience working for a SaaS or technology-driven company. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Hands-on experience with Sage preferred. Prior experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven company a big plus Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in Excel with strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Compensation at HomeSource We are committed to providing competitive compensation for all roles at HomeSource.
