following job description: Responsible for the overall performance
of the region, including the achievement of expected levels of
client service quality, balance sheet quality, profitability and
growth, and risk management. This role acts as the Chief Integrator
for all banking functions in the region, including Commercial,
Consumer and Wealth and other line of business partners to drive a
consistent client experience at Truist. The Regional President role
serves as the executive-level representative of Truist within the
region and is leveraged to respond to regional/market/community
requests and issues where a Truist response is required (in
partnership with Corporate Communications). The Regional President
II role provides oversight of the largest regions (some full
states) within Commercial Banking, all of which have multiple
growth markets within the region with specific go-to-market
strategies to increase market share. This role manages Sales
Leaders who lead Bankers across multiple segments (Commercial,
Middle Market, Not-for-Profit, Government) with client
concentration of revenue generation up to $500MM. Job Description
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

1. Assume overall responsibility for sales management for the
region, optimizing resources and tools to enable sales leaders and
teammates. This requires communicating Truist’s vision, setting
clear expectations and consistently inspecting the quantity and
quality of behaviors, driving accountability to create desired
results, and building and/or growing the capabilities and skills of
the team that serves to achieve expected goals and objectives. 2.
Responsible for managing the overall financials of the region to
maximize returns for the bank. Has primary responsibility for the
profitability of the region as well as expense management.
Responsible for controlling costs and optimizing spend within the
region. Partners closely with the pricing partners to enhance our
liability growth, costs and mix. 3. Ensure a differentiated, valued
experience is provided to clients through effective execution of
Truist’s go-to-market strategy. Integrate all partners to ensure
client needs are being met and service quality is a top priority;
key partnerships across the Bank include: Business Banking, Retail
(branches), Wealth, Capital Markets and Investment Banking,
Insurance Holdings, and Mortgage. In addition, leveraging key
partners such as Industry Consultants, Corporate Finance
Consultants, Credit, Treasury and other Payment Services as well as
Operations to understand clients needs, identify the best solutions
for the client and service their ongoing needs (a.k.a. “Chief
Integrator”). 4. Manage all HR-related aspects of teammates within
the region to include performance coaching and feedback,
compensation alignment by role, capability and skill set growth,
hiring talent, addressing underperformance and taking action to
include termination as necessary. Responsible for maintaining the
appropriate staffing levels to ensure that client needs are met and
creating a culture and work environment of inclusion and one that
enables teammates to perform their best work. 5. Responsible for
setting clear expectations and tone regarding Truist’s Credit
Culture. Ensure that all teammates are aware of Truist Loan
Policies and they are followed consistently by every member of the
team with an emphasis on data integrity and overall risk
management. 6. Partner with Credit Delivery to ensure that key loan
portfolio goals of profitability, quality, safety, liquidity,
growth and productivity are met. 7. Actively involved with
Community Advisory Boards to ensure that board members are
leveraged in the most efficient way for the Bank and that these
boards contain the proper representatives from the community. 8.
Acts as the primary contact between the Region and Truist’s
Executive Leadership Team as this is the most senior leader in the
Region and the voice of Truist; partners directly with Corporate
Communications for proactive and reactive bank messaging as needed.
Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

degree or equivalent education and/or related training. 2. 10 years
or more of bank lending experience, specifically in the Commercial
segment (or higher level segment such as Middle Market and
Corporate & Investment Banking). 3. Demonstrated leadership
experience managing large teams and indirectly managing multiple
partners who play a key role in enabling and supporting the Bankers
provide the best solutions to the clients (e.g. Credit Delivery,
Operations, Treasury, etc.). 4. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills; this position is often asked to represent
Truist as the senior-most leader within the Region at community
events, client events, etc. 5. Ability to travel, occasionally
overnight. Preferred Qualifications: 1. MBA or Advanced Degree with
concentration in Finance 2. 15 Years managing Commercial and/or
Middle Market Lenders that offer the most complex financial
solutions (e.g. Capital Markets FX, Syndications, etc.) General
