Job Description:

The Senior Manager Integrated Marketing supports a key "PCHI Omni-Marketing Center of Excellence" team in achieving PCHI competitive advantage as the industry-leader in the celebration sector, supporting our purpose and promise to inspire joy by making it easier to create unforgettable memories. Reporting into SD/D Enterprise Integrated Marketing, he/she will be responsible for building and activating omni retail-centric integrated go-to-market plans that enable a frictionless and distinguished customer experience.

The (D/SDEIM) will support the Party City retail business, working with all cross-functional partners (channel marketing, CRM, media, operations, brand management, creative, merchandising, customer experience and ecommerce teams) to architect integrated owned, earned and paid marketing strategy and tactical execution plans that are tied to the overall enterprise sales plan.

The (DIMP) will lead by example, to develop a customer obsession mindset in all aspects of business, leading to effective and differentiated solutions that deliver a superior customer experience across the customer decision journey. He/She will be a prolific teacher, having an outsized impact on the total marketing organization in furthering individual capabilities and total team bench-strength improvement.


Enterprise Annual Planning - B2B and B2C
--- Input to and socialize the YOY enterprise Marketing calendar (reflecting the comprehensive marketing strategy over a rolling 18-month period), as the conduit between customer experience, insights, marketing, merchandising and product development.
--- Generate customer, category and product insights to inform short and long term decisions that generate business growth

Quarterly Planning, Channel Integration and Activation
--- Work across channel partner team to integrated plans that maximize the customer experience across the customer decision journey (awareness, engagement, loyalty)
--- Work with merchants to co-build retail Integrated Sales Plans, building quarter over quarter and annual owned, earned and paid integrated marketing plans
--- Build new programming to support new value propositions
--- Develop all seasonal strategic and activation briefs for internal/external studio and agency partners; provide guidance to deliver on-strategy, on-brand solutions that will enable business results
--- Build brand partnership programs with key vendors or property brands
--- Build and support enterprise charitable partnerships, building and activating integrated programming
--- Develop communication strategy against our key customer targets and programs
--- Maintain tight standard for all creative that reinforces the brand vision, mission and positioning attributes while delivering on business goals
--- Work with external and internal studio teams to develop creative content output
--- Work with operations team to ensure flawless execution

Growth and Optimization
--- Pro-actively view business results and recommend course correction to maximize returns
--- Develop and monitor category growth and program KPI's to make recommendations for optimization and effectiveness
--- Effectively communicate and evangelize new ideas, visions, programs and opportunities to a variety of cross-functional partners - dynamic and compelling presentation skills
--- Ensure that projects are delivered in a timely manner and that they are always in line with the business's guidelines, quality standards, and objectives.

Build Best-In-Class Culture
--- Change management through setting direction and urgency, building a coalition of support, communicating widely, overcoming resistance to change and facilitating implementation of successful change actions
--- Evangelize an agile culture of continuous improvement and customer-obsession

--- 10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in integrated planning
--- Retail marketing with a merchant-oriented organization as must
--- Category strategy and/or shopping marketing background is ideal
--- Strong breadth of channel marketing expertise across paid, earned and owned channels, in an omni-channel environment
--- Proven ability to build strong business cases and tell clear stories from data
--- Expertise in communication strategy
--- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas
--- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives
--- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences - using data
--- Excellent leadership and team building/management skills; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others.
--- Technical requirements: WORD, Excel, Power Point a must

Education Requirements:
--- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or directly related field.
