Job Description:
H&K Group, Inc., a premier provider of construction
materials and services since 1968, is seeking an Assistant Service
Technician to support our Water & Utilities division. This role is
pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of water
treatment and distribution systems. The successful candidate will
work under the supervision of senior technicians to ensure the
effective operation and maintenance of water utility systems,
including regular maintenance checks, repairs, and the installation
of new equipment. Assist in routine inspections and maintenance of
water treatment equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Support
the installation and repair of water distribution and treatment
machinery and associated infrastructure. Document operational data
and report any abnormalities in system performance to the senior
technician. Follow safety protocols strictly while performing
maintenance and repair tasks. Collaborate with the team to
troubleshoot system issues and provide innovative solutions.
Participate in emergency response teams for immediate repairs
during system breakdowns. Basic knowledge of mechanical,
electrical, and hydraulic systems. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and
different weather environments. Readiness to adhere to all
safety-related procedures and practices. Medical Insurance 401k
Certified in CPR and First Aid. OSHA Safety Certification is
considered a plus.
