Job Description:

The Marketing Web and Graphic Design Assistant works with the Marketing department team to support Janome America's marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and improving the Janome and Elna websites and email marketing campaigns, designing graphics, and assisting with marketing administrative functions.Essential Job Functions:Website and Digital Content--- Create and maintain all content for Janome America and Elna USA websites using the Optimizely/EpiServer platform. Content includes landing and product detail pages, promotional web banners and project pages.--- Review sites and web pages to ensure accuracy and consistency of information.--- Identify and resolve web issues directly or by working with 3rd-party developers.Email Marketing Campaigns--- Create, schedule and execute email marketing campaigns to consumers and dealers through third-party email platforms. Work closely with marketing team to develop messaging and content.--- Maintain and update consumer and dealer emails lists, and segment lists as needed.--- Track KPIs and provide recaps.Graphic Design and Marketing Support--- Prepare graphics and layouts as needed for digital advertising, websites, e-newsletters, catalogs, print ads and trade show signage. --- Proofread projects including product, promotional and advertising materials.--- Coordinate invoice processing for print and digital media.--- Assist with content development for paid digital advertising, including e-newsletters and web advertising. --- Assist with coordinating social media schedules, influencers, and content.--- Administer marketing setup for new dealers.--- Assist with other marketing projects as needed. Qualifications and Requirements:--- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Media Services or equivalent combination of education and experience--- 1-3 years marketing support experience and a general understanding of digital marketing --- Experience with using Content Management Systems--- Basic interest in sewing, quilting or any type of crafting is highly preferredSkills:Effective listening and communication skills, written and verbalEffective presentation skillsStrong writing abilitiesStrong creative aptitude, with graphic design capabilitiesAbility to understand marketing and branding strategy and translate to designMAC and PC proficiencyMS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiencyWorking knowledge of systems, techniques, processes, and terminology used in web design, social media, and other applicable mediaKnowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, DreamweaverBasic HTML coding knowledge preferredBasic knowledge of web analytics and reporting tools preferred; ability to analyze data and synthesize trendsPI152808383
