Job Description State-Mandated Preschool Teacher Gilmore Memorial Preschool, Inc. is looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher to prepare students for the next level by easing them into organized education. You will teach them essential elements they will encounter soon after entering Kindergarten and beyond. A preschool teacher must have great love and patience for our students. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowing best practices and preschool educational methods, engaging them, and earning their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the child's healthy mental and emotional development to acclimate to the next level of education more easily. The preschool teacher must also be innovative and adaptable to provide all students with age-appropriate, high-quality onsite learning. The teacher must have a New Jersey Teacher Certification with P-3 Endorsement. Skills Required Oral Communications Skills Organization Interpersonal Skills Math Aptitude Family/Child Relationship Reading Skills Sensitivity Planning Professionalism Time Management Ability to perform tasks related to the physical care of preschoolers. Education/ Training Degree: Bachelor, NJ Standard P3 Certification Experience Early childhood education experience is required.
