A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher with experience across Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. This role involves working in a dynamic school environment to support students with diverse learning needs and to foster inclusive educational experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment. Utilize specialized instructional strategies to address various learning styles and challenges. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding student development. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience teaching special education students in early childhood through high school settings. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
