Mechanical Engineer Sr., you will: • Generate and release design
disclosure drawings & models as well as revisions using CAD
software (CREO) • Work under the direction of other mechanical
engineers to research, design, analyze, and develop mechanical
components, assemblies, and systems including mechanisms and
ordnance • 50% of the job will be on the shop floor interfacing
with Manufacturing Engineers, production quality (inspectors), and
machinists • Participate in hardware defect/issue resolution and
develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while
assuring sound technical content and timely execution • Develop,
review, and maintain engineering documents, specifications, and
technical analyses necessary to support product build and testing
activities • Will communicate daily with the CPE/CPE delegates shop
floor issues and recommend potential design improvements •
Collaborate with manufacturing personnel on design for
manufacturing and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Support IPRRs by checking MWIs, quality inspection plans, and NC

Engineering, or related technical discipline with knowledge of
mechanical engineering concepts and processes • Experience
utilizing Creo software and/or similar experience • Ability to
perform Foundational skills performing GD&T • Ability to work
in a reciprocal and team-based environment • Willingness to travel
when required. • Ability to obtain a Government issued security
clearance, must be a US Citizen Desired skills Desired skills : •
Active Security Clearance • Experience designing mechanisms •
Experience with ordnance • User of CREO CAD software • Familiar
with releasing drawings in EPDM 9.1 • CPE delegate experience •
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. • Experience
with higher DSR modeling (DSR4-6) • Experience executing Trade
Studies • Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system
definition, design, build, test and operational deployment) •
Experience with Q-Notes & non-discrepant hardware resolution

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at

$98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary
