Our mission is use social media and content marketing to create attention-getting, storytelling, and customer-focused messages to driving growth and innovation across our global markets. Job Description Cognizant Marketing's Social Media team is looking for an expert social media copy editor who can help us make our communication strategy work as hard as possible ---driving more impressions, engagement, and web site referrals. Most importantly, we want you to transform our copy to be inspiring, on-brand, and with no errors! This role will report into the Head of Global Social Media and Content marketing - and partner closely with the global Field Marketing teams, Global Marketing leaders, Global Corporate Communications team, Thought Leadership team, and External and Executive Communications teams. Your social media copy editing superpowers will focus on:

• Copyediting and proofreading social media posts and graphics with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.
• Research and understand the needs, motivations, and aspirations of our audience, so that you can speak to them in the most effective, compelling, and engaging way possible ---including hashtags and calls to action.
• Review proofs for copy adherence to brand voice and project briefs.
• Work marketing teams to effectively achieve marketing and business goals.

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in copy editing and quality assurance.
  • Comfortable editing in multiple styles and for multiple formats.
  • Ability to appropriately manage time and workload in a dynamic environment, while proactively requesting help when needed.
  • An inquisitive mindset
  • Proven proficiency in writing English-language social media communications for technology and B2B brands, senior executives, and large, diverse audiences
  • Passionate about driving measurable business results through social media strategy and execution
  • Experienced with working in a remote-based position Qualifications
