position is responsible for driving sales and profitability,
through the development and execution of the Movado Company Store
E-commerce strategy. The Director will create and lead the
comprehensive buying and site merchandising strategies, and improve
demand generation to expand the audience while being aligned with
our financial objectives and inventory targets in our
fastest-growing business. This position requires an innovative and
experienced multi-channel retailer who has built out and scaled a
digital business and created a seamless omnichannel environment
including Buy On-Line Pick up In-Store, Ship from Store, and Store
to Store. Essential Job Functions: Connects to the latest trends
and evolutions impacting every part of the consumer journey Tracks
digital activities and KPI's through weekly, monthly, and quarterly
reporting across all brands Develops digital and campaign-specific
KPI's and benchmarks in partnership with the marketing teams to
achieve and surpass sales goals and brand objectives Utilizes web
analytics to analyze the performance of site content, site traffic
patterns, and emails to optimize merchandising, assortment, and
promotional cadence Works with store merchants to ensure messaging
and promotions align between stores and online Develops
forward-looking promotional cadence that supports strong turn,
margin dollars, margin rates and includes interim markdown
strategies Partners with brands and store merchants in planning
global product assortments and digital product strategies for all
brands. (Owned brands include Movado, Olivia Burton, and MVMT.
Licensed brands include Coach, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger,
Ferrari, and Rebecca Minkoff) Partners with the Demand Planning
team to ensure the appropriate inventory levels and timely delivery
of products and partners with store merchants to develop strategies
to exit low performing products Liaises with marketing teams to
ensure timely, accurate, and efficient execution of all digital
assets for global websites which includes routing approvals,
obtaining translations, hand-off of assets, and maintaining close
communications with the creative team. Builds product homepage
calendar and works with the creative team in its design Understands
and tracks competitive brands and websites Drives SEO across
platforms to increase organic traffic and search results Improves
the site experience and functionality through a partnership with
the digital product team Collaborates with the Digital Marketing
team when executing the content and campaigns in the digital and
affiliate channels Uses data to inform key decision-makers about
decisions related to promotions, products, and merchandising Job
Requirements 7-10 years of experience in a retail multi-channel
e-commerce environment with complex categories; Dotcom and
marketplace experience preferred Proven leadership on P&L
management Experience with IT literacy in Google Analytics, and
Social Media, Experience with MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and
SAP (preferred) Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
(Demandware) platform Knowledgeable of e-commerce trends,
competitive landscape, and digital customer experience Self-starter
with a high degree of motivation, ability to meet deadlines, and to
manage multiple projects/priorities Strong aptitude for driving
results while recommending new tactics to achieve them Strong
communication skills, both written and verbal Must be comfortable
being hands-on and "in the details" while thinking strategically
