The Sr. Director, Next Generation Marketing and Environmental Experience leads a key capability within the "PCHI Center of Excellence" team in achieving competitive advantage as the industry-leader in the celebration sector, supporting our purpose and promise to inspire joy by making it easier to create unforgettable memories. Reporting into the Vice President, Brand Marketing, he/she will be responsible for strategizing and activating an end-to-end omni-channel go to market strategy and environmental experience supporting our Next Generation store expansion program, delivering on our collective goals and objectives.He/she leads a role scope inclusive of setting high level marketing strategy in partnership with channel marketers/agencies (customer/consumer, channels, mix, tactics, comm's), planning/driving activation (roadmaps, milestone plans, orchestration, playbook development, Integrated Sales Plan integration), budget/investment/optimization (longitudinal investment strategy, KPI's, marketing/integrated dashboards, actualization) and environmental strategy and activation (8'above and below, comm's, branding, expansion, pilots).The SDNGMEE will bring a successful track record of strategizing and activating omni-channel programming and environmental experience that supports brick & mortar store launches and roll-out in transformational experience environments. The SDNGMEE will lead by example, to develop a customer obsession mindset in all aspects of business, leading to effective and differentiated solutions that deliver a superior customer experience across the customer decision journey and profitable business growth. He/She will be a prolific teacher, having an outsized impact on the total marketing organization in furthering individual capabilities and total team bench-strength improvement. Responsibilities:Marketing strategy* Develop multi-channel and tiered marketing strategy to deliver on strategic and economic goals and objectives* Partner with analytics, research, data and brand teams to understand high value behaviors and motivation; uncovering strategic insights to optimize and launch new data-driven initiatives* Pursue innovation and disruptive opportunities across all levers, including new partnerships, experiential activations, etcOmni-channel Activation* Partner with channel marketers and the studio in developing a quarterly activation plan* Develop briefs for programming requirements specific to Next Generation marketing* Oversee output to ensure on-brand/strategy outcome* Ensure week-over-week activation is deployed as plannedMeasurement and Budgeting* Co-create overall omni-marketing investment and budgeting process for new store marketing launches * Partner with business units in integrating marketing dashboards into overall store KPI's* Actualize, forecast and provide recommendations in optimizing spend via test and learns and other mechanismsEnvironmental Design* Cross team engagement across the business team merchandising, operations and marketing as the ambassador for Next Gen marketing* Set principles and practices for customer journey-rooted environment experience design strategy across all physical retail spaces* Develop communication and brand strategy for 8' and above (navigation) and below (selection, branding and inspiration)* Develop process and briefing protocol to connect store governanceQualifications:* Minimum 15+ years retail omni-channel marketing, deep digital go to market* Minimum 10+ retail environmental design strategy experience leading large scale store enviro branding and comm's initiatives* 10+ years team leadership, ideally in a transformational environment* 8+ years building and activating omni-marketing strategies managing budgets of $20M+ * Deep understanding of omni-channel marketing best practices to implement and coordinate campaigns through different channels that deliver economic and strategic goals and objectives* Ability to analyze data from various resources and translate it into trends, actionable plans and reporting templates* Prolific alliance builder; foster and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with a high degree of trust* Direct experience with identifying, leading, and implementing large change management initiatives, preferably in large, complex organizations* Well-developed organizational and project management skills to ensure delivery of activation plans* Fine-tuned communication, presentation and influencing skills; with an ability to think creatively and present in a manner that inspires and excites.* Proven leadership qualities, a strong work commitment, and high ethical standardsEducation Requirements: --- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or directly related field and/or experience commensurate with formal education
