We seek highly innovative, hardworking individuals motivated to drive commercial and product development excellence within this platform of products.General Function:The Sr. Global Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic and financial performance of their respective product platform(s) through comprehensive and timely Marketing and Product strategy development and execution.Responsibilities:Participate in the development and execution of marketing and product strategies to achieve or exceed the business unit objectives of innovation and growth for the Platform portfolio. This will include analyzing market and customer information, identifying new product innovations, optimizing product portfolio, launching new products and line extensions, pricing strategies and guidelines, etc.Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member for the assigned project(s). Accountable for completion of respective marketing deliverables to ensure commercial excellence through collaborative efforts with all levels of other functional areas (e.g., R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc.). Use fact-based data to advise key decisions, driving timely decision-making even in the face of incomplete information.Develop a global marketing and related launch plan for the assigned product platform that defines "how to win,"-- - including market development, evidence generation, marketing communications, pricing strategies, promotional strategies, and customer-facing associate training.Utilize and activate principles of segmentation, targeting and value proposition development. Develops content and strategies for promotional materials and programs including sales aids, advertising, digital campaigns, and external events, working with the Marketing Communications team.Effectively partner with sales, regional and segment marketing and other functions to execute the Marketing Plan in line with business performance, vision, strategy and goals.Provide adequate and appropriate training and direction to sales and regional marketing. Advises customer targeting strategy for the product platform and actively participates in customer-facing activities, as needed, to accelerate customer capture.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Successful Candidates will have proficiency in the following areas:Brand StrategyStrategic InnovationBusiness and Financial AcumenMarketing Planning and ExecutionMarketing CommunicationsProduct and Portfolio ManagementCommercial ExcellenceHighly Motivated with the ability to deliver results.Demonstrated critical thinking and implementation skills; analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and measurable plans.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of opposing priorities. Proven track record to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills, and can work internationally with diverse cultures.Negotiates and engages confidently in constructive challenge.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Technical Field; MBA highly preferred7-10 years' experience in a marketing, strategy or related function within healthcare, medical device and/or related industry.Proven track record in upstream strategic marketing, including market analysis and modeling, market research and segmentation, new product concept generation, and using internal phase-gate product development processes to develop highly differentiated new products.
