This role is located in Ramsey, NJ - HYBRID 3 days in the office and 2 working from home

Position ObjectiveAs a key member of Konica Minolta's Talent Acquisition leadership team, the Manager, Talent Acquisition provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to their team in order to meet the hiring and retention requirements of the organization. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will based out of one of the regional offices or US HQ. S/he/they will ensure the needs of the business are met in alignment with the organizational strategy and that the team is high performing and engaged.
Essential Job Functions

  • Coach, mentor, evaluate, develop and guide team members to meet performance and career objectives aligned to organizational goals
  • Develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates including digital strategies, social media and professional networks
  • Work closely with the Director and Operations Manager to plan, execute and implement projects, programs and tools to improve recruiting effectiveness, optimize cost and enhance candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Partner with the Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to implement strategies and process to attract and retain underrepresented talent
  • Act as a role model and coach to the team, instilling a culture of on-going operational improvement, engagement and accountability
  • Liaise with company division / department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs
  • Balance recruiter requisition loads as needed
  • Appropriately challenges the status quo based on data and provide suggestions to the Director Talent Acquisition to enhance delivery
  • Partner with HRBPs to ensure alignment on the hiring prioritization, process, search strategy and progress to more effectively meet hiring needs
  • Ensure seamless candidate and hiring manager experience when partnered with third party to fill openings.
  • Provide reporting on KPIs and progress to ensure goals are met
  • Provide recruiters with learning opportunities to gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization
  • Facilitate executive recruiting
  • Recommend technology to help the organization meet its hiring objectives
  • Provide input into annual budgeting with understanding of ROI of proposed actions
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in labor legislation to determine the impact it may have on current recruitment procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned

    • Excellent management and leadership skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
    • The ability to work efficiently under pressure
    • Organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Sound organizational and decision-making skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment
    • Sound knowledge of labor legislation and HR practices
    • The ability to work efficiently under pressure
    • Proficiency in all GSuite, Microsoft Office applications as well as recruitment software
      Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
      • High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management, labor relations, or related field preferred
      • Five years of recruiting experience required; technical recruiting experience a plus
      • Experience leading teams; proven experience working as a recruiting manager preferred
      • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential, SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
