Job Description:
Summary:
Under the limited supervision of the CLO and SVP, Residential
Lending, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the operations
and oversight of the loan servicing department. This includes, but
is not limited to, continuously reviewing and updating processes
and procedures to gain efficiencies and ensure accuracy;
accountability of the department team members and ensuring all
staff is properly trained and has the tools required; booking loans
on the core system and reviewing for accuracy, preparation of all
required weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports; preparing
initial escrow disclosures; conducting and monitoring annual escrow
analysis with timely and accurate escrow disbursements; completes
the functions necessary for preparing files for performing
post-closing review on all real estate loans; accurate and timely
insurance monitoring, tracking and follow up; payment and payoff
processing is also required. The position requires extensive
knowledge of Real Estate documentation, banking system aptitude, as
well as insurance and property tax requirements. Incumbent must be
a team oriented motivator that is detailed oriented with a strong
work ethic and extremely organized.
Representative Duties:
Responsible for accurate review of all loan files post-closing for
quality control to ensure proper documentation and execution.
Responsible for loan booking, welcome letters and initial escrow
statements.
Responsible for the accuracy and timely disbursement of all escrows
and annual escrow analysis.
Responsible for the accuracy and timely receipt of all insurance
policies relating to loans.
Responsible for the accurate permanent assembly of loan files.
Responsible for timely follow-up of post-closing documents such as
corrections, missing documentation, cancellation of mortgage liens,
recorded mortgages and title policies.
Must be prepared to investigate and remedy any problems with loan
files expediently.
Responsible for verification of HMDA/CRA data and worksheet
completion.
Assist with loan payment and payoff processing.
Assist customer with investigation or routine questions as they
arise.
Must be knowledgeable of all computer systems and software within
the department.
Must have familiarity with all policies, procedures, products and
documentation requirements relating to real estate lending.
Must be familiar with and adhere to all consumer compliance
regulations as well as the Bank's Customer Identification
Procedures and Bank Secrecy Policy.
Perform other duties as required for the efficient functioning of
the department.
