business leaders R&D Director Sexual Health, Women's Health,
and OTC Position Specification Reporting to the Vice President
R&D Global R&D Specialty Hair Care, Personal Care, Health &
Wellbeing the position will be responsible for: - - Leading the
development of science-based products, pipeline, and platforms
focused on consumer driven and technology centric designs. The
position is responsible for leading the Princeton NJ USA and
Montreal CA R&D teams to drive business growth that delivers
success. The role requires a highly experienced R&D technical
leader with excellent communication skills, leadership
capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to work closely with
cross functional partners to deliver regional and global
initiatives. The position is responsible for managing the overall
day to day R&D programs, particularly focused on aligning
business strategy with R&D 2025 goals, delivering business
needs, and serving as the R&D Sexual Health, Women's Health,
and OTC leader for the Global R&D organization. In addition,
the position will be responsible for actively participating on the
Global R&D leadership team and representing their team. - - - -
The position is responsible for developing the longer-term R&D
vision for Sexual Health, Women's Health, and OTC including the
technical paths needed to enable business growth. This role
requires a highly skilled technical leader who can drive a solid
strategic approach to support a growing regional and international
business. - - The position will also develop patent strategies
around R&D technologies and work closely with IP counsel to
develop stronger, creative IP protection for CHD technologies. Role
Accountabilities and Responsibilities - - - Direct consumer-centric
design and development of CHD products within the defined costing
model, launch requirements, and supply chain parameters. - -
In-depth understanding of business objectives and resource
allocation/timeline to direct internal and external development and
validation. - - - Be viewed as the lead for innovation with
internal partners, interfacing with SBU business leaders to plan,
coordinate and execute agreed project assignments for Sexual
Health, Women's Health, and OTC Brands globally - - Be the R&D
leader to coordinate technical activities of both the R&D
organization as well as partner functions such as Quality,
Regulatory, Engineering, etc. - - Collaborate with Global Centers
as part of Team of Teams to enable product development for global
brands. - - In-depth understanding of business objectives and
resource allocation/timeline to direct internal and external
development and validation. - - - Be viewed as the lead for R&D
with internal partners, interfacing with business leaders to plan,
coordinate and execute agreed project portfolio. - - Participate on
the Sr R&D Leadership team and implement R&D strategies. -
- Manage R&D teams, providing leadership, project
prioritization and delegation of activities against agreed
objectives - - Execute multiple projects within budgetary scope for
commercialization of new or modified products. - - Recommend and
assess feasibility of new technologies and identify critical
success drivers for the team as part of global role with R&D
Global Centers. - - Manage complex projects with independence - -
Coordinate with the department's senior management to define and
prioritize goals & objectives. - - Coordinate qualification
programs for new product designs and materials. Education and

successful candidate should be a highly seasoned professional with
a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D leadership and
product development. - Additional experience should include quality
management.The candidate should have a minimum of a BS degree in
Science or Engineering. - Experience with medical devices and
regulated products is important.The candidate's experience must
clearly demonstrate background in the following areas: - -
Experience in R&D leadership and management. - - Understanding
and experience in working with external partners such as suppliers
and co-manufacturers. - - Experience in product development for new
product launches and tech transfer, particularly related to medical
devices. - - Knowledge of medical device and OTC regulatory
requirements globally. - - Management of departmental projects,
resources, and budget - - Coordination and completion of
qualification programs of new products - - Identification and
coordination of cost savings initiatives as related to designs and
materials - - Fully developed skills in project management and
experienced, cross-functional interactions - - Detailed
understanding of manufacturing requirements for medical devices and
OTC products. Skills and Competencies - - Proven leadership
abilities and through understanding of consumer-centric product
development and all associated processes. - - Passion for
innovation and technology within the framework of new product
development. - - Proven organizational and communication skills, -
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across
