Our Corporate division is now seeking a talented Senior Human Resources Manager to join our HR Team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Mahwah and Clifton (New Jersey) and our NY office

Department Size: 2/3

Reporting into: HR Director Operations and Regions

The Role:

You will partner the team on their leadership capability, team effectiveness, strategic insight and business performance. You will also play a pivotal role in developing the passionate, committed and fun work environment that we pride ourselves on at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP. We are a high - growth and successful business and you will be expected to provide solutions and ideas to the many challenges presented by the business as it evolves.

Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:

* Provide HR leadership to 680+ individuals among NY Office and two Distribution Centers based in New Jersey.
* Ensure HR guidance within the client group and wider group, in alignment with the global strategic HR plans.
* Working with line managers to translate business needs into clear HR plans.
* Drive strategic resource planning across client group addressing structure, job design, talent gaps, development plans, succession plans, retention and recruitment needs.
* Advise managers on adapting working structures to meet delivery and roadmap deadlines within their teams.
* Collaborate with Recruitment team to design relevant talent sourcing campaigns and initiatives.
* Interview all management and team leader roles within client group.
* Work with recruitment team and line managers to oversee onboarding process for new starters.
* Lead strategic projects/initiatives that continuously enhance employee engagement.
* Manage employee relations issues (including disciplinary, grievance and changes to terms and conditions) and advise Managers on company policies and procedures.
* Coaching and advising managers with team performance issues.
* Work with Social committee to develop working environment and communities within each site.
* Develop communication with employees to provide friendly, fair and accessible HR service.
* Deliver in-house training for managers on people Management subjects.
* Oversee annual performance and salary review cycles.
* Prepare annual headcount budget submission for HR Director Operations and Regions and ensure containment of salary costs throughout the year.
* Review and analyse HR KPIs for client group and implement actions to drive engagement and productivity.

Group HR Responsibilities:

* Work with wider global HR team to review and enhance components of HR strategy (Reward, Talent Management; L&D etc)
* Develop and implement initiatives to support and enforce YNAP cultural values and cohesion on a global basis.
* Constantly review overall company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with evolving employment legislation and ensure YOOX NET-A-PORTER is best in class.
* Assist HR Director Operations and Regions on ad hoc project work.
* Attend industry events and training events as required and identified.
* Contribute to the growth of the company through ideas and initiatives.
* Ensure that the company values are intrinsic in every part of your role.

The type of person we are looking for:

* Degree educated.
* Proven HR Manager experience within a fast-paced logistics or retail environment.
* Significant experience of managing change within the employee relations arena.
* Comfortable working with staff and managers at a range of levels.
* Very good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel/Outlook/Word.
* Demonstrated experience in team working environment with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Able to build positive relationships and rapport with others.
* Articulate with excellent writing skills, and good eye for detail.
* Discreet, professional and well presented, with good communication skills.
* Exceptionally well organized and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative.
* Ability to use judgment and seek guidance with confidential issues.
* Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
* Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the HR service to the business.
