Position Summary:CCM is looking for a highly driven, results-oriented, VP of Sales and Marketing who is passionate about leading the expansion of our services. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this newly created position will be responsible for new business development, marketing, and customer service management. This position is responsible for leading a senior-level team to promote CCM's proprietary service products to our members/business partners. This role requires strong sales leadership skills, customer service, and prior experience marketing SaaS applications within the Intermodal transportation industry. Broad business knowledge and relationship within the intermodal industry, in addition to a sales discipline, is required.The VP, Sales and Marketing will lead our organization into the next phase of growth. This position plays an integral role, in influencing the future expansion of our company. The VP, Sales and Marketing will be responsible for formulating the Company's sales strategy, developing and overseeing the annual sales budget and plan; and leading all commercial activities to lay a strong foundation for the Company's long-term competitiveness. In addition, he/she will lead marketing and customer liaison efforts, along with responsibility for the sales lifecycle in negotiations for third-party use of CCM's proprietary MandR and CMS systems.Responsibilities:Maintain relationships with existing Ocean Carrier customers, as well as Motor Carriers and Consolidated Intermodal Technologies (CIT) customersOversee current Product Development and Business Partner Relations functionsBuild a sales strategy for educating potential customers on CCM's proprietary systems to help their business run more effectively and efficientlyPartner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and effectively communicate CCM's value proposition, including the adaptability of our systems to their needsDevelop clear and effective performance metrics for the marketing team, measuring effectiveness; using metric trends and data to drive the business and decisions thereinCreate a business plan including potential customers who would benefit from CCM's systemsDevelop and execute focused sales strategies to increase the growth and presence of CCM's systemsWork on a Customer Service strategy and staff training model to provide excellent service to our customersPartner with the customer service team, business development, and IT group, to better understand the product and advantages of our systems for the intermodal target marketRequirements:Experience in consultative technology sales and managementAbility to drive the full cycle sales process from identifying new business opportunities and creating project and execution plansExperience and understanding of the intermodal industry and how our technology would increase their profitability and improve efficienciesExcellent negotiation skills and experience developing and structuring agreementsProven ability to position CCM's products against current tools being utilizedDemonstrated track record of successfully leading a new sales initiativeMust possess effective leadership skills including verbal, written, and presentation skillsAbility to synthesize customers' needs and identify solutions utilizing CCM's productsAbility to understand industry-specific terms and trendsExcel in a fast-paced sales environment where responsibility for individual performance and a team approach are valuedStrong technology background and familiarization with CRM platformsIndustry-relevant experience (Transportation/Intermodal/Logistics) requiredAbility to TravelOffers a competitive salary, bonus, and, full benefits package including:Health Care, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance401(k) with Company ContributionPaid holidays, vacation, and personal/sick daysOption to participate in a Corporate Wellness ProgramAbout CCMConsolidated Chassis Management, LLC (CCM) was formed in 2005 to address the transportation industry's need to develop a more efficient model for operating its fleet of chassis.
