Job Title: Workday Project Manager Location: REMOTE some travel
required (quarterly) Rate: Please use the rate card max of $55.11
hourly. Max is flexible: submit matching candidates above rate card

Management/Project Lifecycle Overview The Project Manager is
responsible for engaging and analyzing the program needs on a large
cross-functional scale across the organization, with a
concentration on Workday as part of the Cognizant HR Modernization
Team. The HR Modernization team is responsible for creating,
improving, and deploying global business process tools, technology,
and programs in areas of Human Capital Management, Talent and
Performance, Compensation Absence, Recruiting, Workforce Planning
People Analytics and Adaptive Insights. As a critical member of the
team, you will support the Engagement Manager with a concentrated
focus area dependent on project phase and need. What You'll Do:
Serve as a supporting resource in the transition of the current
HRIS system and operating model to Workday Develop on-going
partnerships with our IT, Payroll and HR teams as well as outside
consultants and vendors to ensure project plan, timeline and
execution are adhered to Serve as project manager for specific
workstreams, project initiatives, etc. this is inclusive of
attending workstream meetings, management/tracking of RAIDs,
understanding roles of team members, identifying risks, driving
conflict management, etc. Ensure various project teams' plans are
lockstep with project scope, plan, and timeline Exercise open
communication with functional Engagement Manager by providing
regular updates, raising escalations, etc. Lead by influence by
understanding overall project need and advising the decisions
makers to make decisions in the best interest of the project at
large Make procedural decisions directly to the areas supported in
alignment overall project direction Who You Are: Thought Leader:

enhancement of Workday Tenant Setup, business processes, security
policies, routings, notifications, and complex conditions for Human
Capital Management, Talent and Performance, Compensation Absence,
Recruiting, Workforce Planning People Analytics and Adaptive
Insights Additional Preferred Experience: Experience with
PeopleSoft HCM with a focus on HR Experience supporting end to end
project activities from a project management perspective, including
requirements gathering, project work plans, documentation, solution
design, technical configuration, test development and related
deployment activities in support of multiple work streams
Understand of end-to-end functional business processes Skills
Required: Strong oral and written communications with excelling
teamwork and interpersonal soft skills Comfortable working with
constant deadlines with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one
time Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to
analyze/synthesize data, understand trends, draw conclusions, and
make recommendations for actions, experience with varied systems
and project management reporting tools Working knowledge of Workday
and cloud technologies (general understanding of cloud vs on-prem.
solutions) Ability to manage work performed by outsourced vendor
both on and offshore Ability to collaborate with cross-functional
