Manager, Tax

• U.S. income tax compliance including calculating book/tax differences, estimated tax payments, and state apportionment.
• Non-income tax compliance including sales/use and excise tax across all U.S. states
• Maintain tax compliance calendar to ensure all filings are timely completed.
• Manage the tax payment process, working closely with Treasury and AP.
• Assist with transfer pricing calculations.
• Review tax returns, tax work papers and supporting documentation.
• Manage or assist with the various tax notices and exams in such a manner that the position is knowledgeable enough of the laws/requirements so the position can answer IRS and/or state authority's questions and concerns. Tax Provision:
  • Assist with the completion of quarterly tax provisions, addressing any tax accounting issues and discussing with the Director of Tax, as needed.
  • Review tax account reconciliations and maintain the process that validates the income tax provision.
  • Assist with internal control requirements. Tax Planning & Projects:
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed. Other:

        Education Preferred:
        • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required (CPA or advance degree, a plus) Work Experience:
          • Deep hands-on knowledge in the following areas: Federal and state tax (international experience, a plus).
          • Experienced in maintaining good relationships between stakeholders, both internal and external.
          • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to meet established deadlines.
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with others.
          • Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
          • 5 years plus of tax experience in a "Big 4" accounting firm and/or relevant industry experience required. Physical and Mental Requirements:
