Position Objective Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager - Solutions! This opportunity is a full-time position within our Business Intelligence Services (BIS) Solutions team. Essential Job Functions

  • Effectively manage the assigned Office Product Solutions product line
  • Prepare marketing plans and define strategies for the positioning, launch, and ongoing management of all assigned solutions
  • Provide direction, momentum, and support for sales growth through all sales channels (Direct and Dealer) for assigned solutions
  • Increase profitable sales revenues and decrease time-to-market for assigned BUS solutions products
  • Manage and maintain all items and pricing associated with the assigned solutions in collaboration with the Product Operations team
  • Coordinate the product support mechanisms, assist with sales training; ensure that technical training and technical support, including the BIS Field Teams, have proper information, equipment and documentation prior to launch for all channel (Direct and Dealer)
  • Primary interface to third party solution vendors based on assigned solutions
  • Monitor sales performance of assigned solutions on an ongoing basis to find areas of opportunity for growth
  • Participate in trade shows, meetings and seminars affecting the perception, influence and sales of these products, including third party vendor participation, both virtually and on-premise
  • Visit customers as required
  • Engage in learning activities required to maintain current knowledge of assigned products and essential business practices
  • Same travel may be required, both domestically and internationally Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
    • Solid product knowledge including software and middleware solutions, applications, and software utilities
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Understand solution technology roadmaps and strategy for growth in solutions sales overall
    • Solid market knowledge of vertical markets, product fit/applications, competitive products and pricing, etc.
    • Experience performing sales planning and forecasting a plus
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and all Windows Operating Systems
    • Experience with traditional office product solutions (ie: print management, scanning, security), a define plus Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, or Engineering preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • 5+ years progressive experience in sales or marketing of software solution products, preferably in the document imaging industry Konica Minolta Offers:
