The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple
cross-functional and cross-discipline projects in support of
corporate strategic and tactical initiatives. This individual works
with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish budgets, define
goals, objectives, and scope. Also ensure that corporate and vendor
resources are focused and aligned, and appropriate change
management practices are implemented. Must be able to manage
multiple end-to-end projects concurrently, develop and manage to a
budget, assemble, and guide all resources as necessary, effectively
monitor, manage and communicate project tasks, timelines, changes,
and risks to all levels from project team members to senior
management. Responsibilities include, management of
product/solution evaluations, vendor selection, contract
management, requirements gathering, scope planning, design /
development / execution of deliverables, testing and completion
signoff. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leads business initiatives with cross-functional and technical
teams to improve service quality, service delivery, and financial
results.
- Communicates and demonstrates the value of corporate business
initiatives.
- Helps employees/users/stakeholders understand the change.
- Works across all levels of the company's organization to
identify and recommend improvements to achieve operational
effectiveness.
- Works closely with functional owners to ensure that
requirements are clear, there is business value, user involvement,
ownership, and ongoing support.
- Develop, Drive and Manage project plans for multiple projects
concurrently.
- Manage evaluation, selection, and deployment of tools and
methods to improve business performance.
- Works with business partners to facilitate agreement on new
roles and responsibilities that may be required with new
functionality; establish process ownership.
- Identifies change champions and assists them in defining key
project that will provide optimum business results.
- Serves as mentor for project team members.
- Leads and manages the global project portfolio, project
approval and prioritization.
- Acts as a business advisor and consultant to senior executives
on business challenges.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal
and external business partners.
- Drive global business process and information consistency in
all business solutions.
- Ensures integration of work effort between IT and operating
groups and business units.
- Leads data harmonization, synchronization, and integrity
efforts, setting global standards.
- Coordinates and supports testing and roll-out of new
functionality in various locations.
- Helps establish monitoring, compliance, and information
integrity procedures.
- Advertises new development activities and deliverable
timetables through established communications program. Job
Requirements
- BS/BA required with preference for business or technical,
MS/MBA a plus
- PMP certification is mandatory
- A minimum of 7 years project management experience with at
least 3 years in leading multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office technologies specifically
Outlook, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Knowledge of process analysis, documenting, standardization,
improvement helpful
- Proven working experience with a multi-national company
managing multiple projects concurrently
- Record of achieving superior levels of performance and customer
satisfaction on challenging projects
- Experience in managing ERP projects in a multi-national
company
- Experience in managing eCommerce projects a multi-national
company
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize
effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills - ability to
communicate and build relationships across different departments
