Center.**Micro Center is seeking tech savvy, high volume, big box
Retail Store General Managers for our upcoming new store
openings.** This **Store/General Manager Onboarding Program** for
both new stores and current stores has been created to ensure that
our new General Managers are fully equipped for success once
assigned to their location. **At this time, only candidates with
high volume (30 Million +) and a minimum of 5-10 years of big box
Retail Store General Manager experience will be considered.** We
are interested in candidates who are able to be based out of any
current or new store openings in either the Mid-West, East, or
South-Eastern regions of the country. The **Store/ General Manager
Onboarding Program** consists of the following:**RESPONSIBILITIES
AND ONBOARDING SPECIFICS:**The program will consist of six to
twelve months of onboarding in the four major focus areas of our
stores Sales, Operations, Service and Human Resources to ensure
that you will learn all senior management functions within a Micro
Center store* Whenever possible, training will take place in the
higher performing stores, close to your current market/region* You
will be partnered with a Store Manager(s) who will be your
champion(s) but youll also work closely with District Managers and
Home Office Vice Presidents during your onboarding.* Once initial
onboarding is completed, you will be eligible for any open General
Manager position. Should there not be a suitable match within your
designated region, you will work with your District Manager to
assist both within and outside the district where needed to gather
additional Micro Center retail experience. An additional
compensation increase will be given for all permanent
placements/moves. A strong relocation package will also be included
and will be discussed during the interview process.* You will
attend all Home Office Retail Leadership Meetings (4 annually that
include the following: General Managers, Sales Managers, Operations
Managers and Service Managers)**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS:**Our ideal candidate should have minimum of 5+ years
of experience with a major big box retailer in a high-volume (30
Million +), 30,000+ square-foot store, with at least 75 employees
and full accountability for profit and loss. * Background must
include heavy emphasis on and experience in sales management,
merchandising, human resources, operations and freight flow,
customer service function and all other aspects of retailing.* The
ability to generate sales, hire, retain and coach qualified
employees, execute corporate initiatives and analyze the
competition are necessary functions in this position.* Previous
retail electronics experience is preferred but not required* A
bachelors degree is preferred but not required* Ability to relocate
(with our assistance) to one of our current or new locations within
the pre-determined region of choice (East Coast, Midwest, South, or

Dallas, TX;+ West Coast - Denver, CO; Tustin, CA* We ideally will
make offers in metro markets where we have multiple stores, but
location will not be the only consideration when choosing your
primary onboarding location and onboarding location rotation.*
Temporary assignments in additional locations during onboarding may
vary in length. Travel to and from your primary onboarding location
and home for days off etc. will be accommodated and built into the
onboarding travel schedule.* Covered travel expenses during the
onboarding program include the following: airfare, mileage, meals
and hotel stays.* Relocation expenses will be covered once a
permanent location has been accepted. The relocation package will
include a variety of outstanding benefits. Details of the full
relocation package will be discussed in the interview process.
