Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time registered nurse position is available to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a high school setting. This role involves managing the health needs of a diverse student population and collaborating with school staff to maintain a safe and healthy environment. The position requires a proactive approach to student care, health education, and emergency response. Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up Manage health plans and medication administration for students with chronic conditions Conduct health screenings and assist with immunizations as needed Collaborate with school personnel to promote health education and wellness initiatives Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state regulations Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary Participate in meetings with parents, staff, and healthcare providers as required Qualifications and Experience: Current and active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey Prior experience in a school nursing role with a full caseload, preferably in a high school setting Strong knowledge of school health policies and state regulations Ability to work onsite within the school building and manage multiple health concerns Completion of required fingerprint clearance for both agency and school district Up-to-date TB test and physical examination documentation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to participate in interviews either in person or via Zoom Position Details: Location: Onsite in Orange, NJ (servicing a high school) Contract duration: Full semester, from start date ASAP through June 26, 2026 Full-time, 35 hours per week One opening available Qualified candidates with school-based nursing experience and an active New Jersey license are encouraged to apply for this vital role supporting student health and wellness.
