Job Description:
Our client, a renowned multi-specialty physician group dedicated
to providing comprehensive and patient-centered healthcare across
the Hudson Valley region, is hiring a Pulmonologist . This pivotal
role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality
respiratory care within a collaborative, community-focused
environment. Responsibilities: Provide outpatient pulmonary
evaluations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic
respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis,
interstitial lung disease, infections, and sleep-related breathing
disorders. Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies such as
pulmonary function tests, imaging, and laboratory results. Develop
and implement individualized treatment plans adhering to
evidence-based guidelines. Collaborate with primary care providers
and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Coordinate with
hospital-based providers for inpatient consultations and services.
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record
(EHR). Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adhering to
clinical standards and policies. Educate and counsel patients to
support disease management and preventive health measures. Perform
additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Pulmonary Medicine fellowship. Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease. Active or
eligibility for a New York State medical license. DEA registration
(or ability to obtain). Strong interpersonal, communication, and
clinical decision-making skills. Commitment to patient-centered and
