Endocrinologist Endocrinology & Diabetes Hackensack University
Medical Center Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated
and experienced Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team and health
network. This position offers an exciting blend of in-depth patient
care, opportunities for scholarly work, and involvement in medical
education. The role offers a unique opportunity to provide
exceptional patient care while contributing to the growth and
development of our endocrinology services. The successful candidate
will be responsible for a wide range of professional activities,
including direct patient care, teaching, and quality improvement
initiatives. Highlights: Provide continuous and comprehensive
clinical care for patients with diabetes and other endocrine
disorders. Facilitate transition services for pediatric and
adolescent diabetes patients at the MOLLY Center for Children with
Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders. Support the preoperative
consultative service for diabetic patients. Assist the Director of
the Diabetes Program with inpatient diabetes consultations for
medical and surgical patients who do not have an endocrinologist.
Participate in the equitable 24/7/365 on-call schedule, including
weeknights, weekends, holidays, and vacation coverage, in
collaboration with practice physicians. Provide seven (7) 24-hour
periods of unrestricted hospital call coverage every eight (8)
weeks for Emergency Department and inpatient endocrinology
consultations. Assume a teaching role for medical students,
residents, and endocrinology fellows. Assist in developing patient
care protocols and clinical outcomes to enhance cost-effective,
high-quality care Requirements: MD, DO Degree from a recognized
medical school; Completion of a fellowship in endocrinology in a
recognized institution; Experience in endocrinology/diabetes and/or
an affiliation with an academic institution Ability to relate
effectively to all levels of the clinical and administrative
structure of the medical center as well as of other institutions
affiliated with the Division of Endocrinology Board Certified
Internal Medicine & Endocrinology Ability to obtain and/or possess

The minimum base salary for this position is $269,324. The posted
rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good-faith estimate
of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in
accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not

package. The starting base salary is provided for informational

Degrees attained, residencies, fellowships, board certifications,

quality and patient satisfaction. Skills : Demonstrated proficiency
in relevant skills and competencies. Geographic Location: Cost of
living and market rates for the specific location. Internal Equity:
Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation
ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant
funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that
can be offered. In addition to our compensation for full-time and
part-time (20 hours/week) positions, HMH offers a comprehensive
