Overview: Our organization is in search of a skilled thoracic
surgeon to take on the role of Regional Director of Thoracic
Surgery for the Westchester area. This position involves overseeing
the thoracic surgery programs at both Northern Westchester Hospital
and Phelps Memorial Hospital. Candidates should possess 7 to 10
years of relevant experience, have completed a thoracic-track
fellowship, and hold eligibility or certification from ABS/ABTS.
Proficiency in robotic and minimally invasive VATS techniques for
treating both benign and malignant conditions is essential. Key
responsibilities will include providing clinical and strategic
leadership, developing programs, collaborating with research
institutions, offering teaching opportunities, and managing
administrative tasks across the regional service line. Regional
Director of Thoracic Surgery, Westchester Location: Westchester,
New York, United States (On-Site) The Cardiothoracic Surgery
Service Line is looking for a seasoned Thoracic Surgeon to lead the
Division of Thoracic Surgery in Westchester, which includes
oversight of programs at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps
Memorial Hospital . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10
years of experience, be fellowship trained in thoracic surgery, and
be board eligible or certified by ABS and ABTS. A strong emphasis
on robotic surgery and minimally invasive VATS for both malignant
and benign thoracic diseases is required. The Director will
collaborate closely with the Service Line and regional hospital
administration to manage clinical, educational, and strategic
operations. The selected candidate will join a well-established and
busy team of thoracic surgeons, handling an annual case volume
exceeding 3,500. There will be numerous opportunities for
translational research in partnership with the Feinstein Institute
for Medical Research, Monter Cancer Center, and Cold Spring Harbor
Laboratory. The candidate is expected to actively participate in
program development across various network hospitals. Exceptional
