This opportunity seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with a commitment to patient care and safety. The role requires technical proficiency in positioning patients, selecting appropriate technical factors, and operating imaging equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic results. The position involves both fixed and portable X-ray procedures in diverse settings such as patient rooms and emergency areas. Key Responsibilities: Produce diagnostic radiographic images by properly positioning patients and operating radiologic equipment. Ensure radiation safety by restricting exposure to unaffected areas using appropriate devices. Perform portable X-rays in various clinical environments, including operating and emergency rooms. Accurately label and process X-ray films, maintaining strict identification standards. Prepare radiopaque contrast media and assist physicians during administration. Conduct administrative tasks including scheduling, patient instruction, and record maintenance. Provide individualized patient assistance tailored to specific needs, considering factors like age, culture, and communication abilities. Maintain a clean and organized work area under departmental guidance. Adhere to healthcare standards and organizational competencies. Desired Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Technician. Proven experience performing diagnostic radiographic examinations. Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols. Ability to manage portable imaging equipment efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist patients with mobility.
