Job Opportunity – OR Nurse – Pennsylvania Start Date: March 1, 2026 Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio; weekday and weekend call required; 40 hours of orientation Highlights: Operating Room position with extension opportunity in a major healthcare facility Low patient ratio – 1:1 throughout all shifts for focused, quality patient care Trauma Level I facility experience; float to General OR as needed Adult patient population with 2-bed OR unit and consistent daily census Call coverage includes weekdays and weekends; one pre-approved time-off period available 40-hour comprehensive orientation program to ensure successful onboarding Requirements: Valid Pennsylvania RN License or compact state licensure at time of application ACLS and BLS certifications (current and valid) Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Charting system experience required Community hospital or LTAC experience preferred Valid professional references and certification documentation PA state fingerprinting and childline clearance (required within 5 years of start date) Candidates residing within 50 miles are subject to local rate differential Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Operating Room role offers the chance to work in a high-acuity Trauma Level I environment where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes.
