Job Description Our client, a renowned multi-specialty
healthcare provider serving the Hudson Valley region, is hiring a
Physician – Internal Medicine to join their dynamic team. This
vital role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive,
patient-centered care across multiple locations, contributing
significantly to community health and well-being. As an Internal
Medicine Physician, you will provide primary and preventive medical
services to adult patients, diagnosing and managing a wide range of
acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting. Working
within a collaborative, team-based environment, you will foster
long-term patient relationships, promote health maintenance, and
coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services to ensure
optimal health outcomes. The role emphasizes evidence-based
practice, preventive care, and active participation in quality
improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
full-spectrum internal medicine services, including diagnosing and
managing complex medical conditions. Conduct comprehensive patient
histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans
aligned with current clinical guidelines. Provide preventive health
counseling, lifestyle advice, and health promotion strategies.
Coordinate referrals to specialists and outpatient diagnostics to
facilitate comprehensive patient care. Collaborate effectively with
interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient
management. Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records
compliant with regulatory standards. Engage in continuous medical
education, quality improvement activities, and clinical performance
initiatives. Uphold all applicable healthcare laws, regulations,
and organizational policies. Requirements: MD or DO degree from an
accredited institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Internal Medicine. Active and unrestricted New York State medical
license or eligibility. Current DEA registration. Proven commitment
to patient-centered, evidence-based medicine. Excellent clinical
judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with
electronic medical records and quality metrics preferred. Ability
to work a minimum of 30 hours weekly, with expectations averaging
