Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Bethpage, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Bethpage, NY. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. /n - Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments /n - Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy /n - Educate patients on surgical procedures and post?operative expectations /n - Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments /n - Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient?care equipment; interpret and document electronic data /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high?quality patient care /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Travel experience required /n /n - MEDITECH experience required /n /n - NY State RN license in hand /n /n - BLS required /n /n - ACLS required /n /n - PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer /n /n - Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation /n /n - Must be defibrillation certified within 6 months /n /n - Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
