Pulmonologist Linden, New Jersey Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled, board-certified/board-eligible general Pulmonologist to join our thriving outpatient practice in Linden, NJ. This full-time position features a four-day work week (Monday - Thursday) with no inpatient responsibilities, allowing you to focus on building lasting relationships with your patients. The ideal candidate will be available to start in 2026. Key Responsibilities ? Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease. ? Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans. ? Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. ? Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. ? Participate in a light, shared outpatient call schedule. Position Highlights ? Focused Outpatient Care: This position is 100% outpatient with no inpatient rounding or hospital duties required. ? Manageable Schedule: Work four 10-hour shifts per week with a predictable and collegial call schedule shared among providers. ? A full complement of support staff, including certified medical assistants, medical receptionists, and a practice manager. ? Newly renovated office with EKG, x-ray, lab draws, and a pulmonary function machine. Qualifications ? Medical Degree (MD or DO). ? Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology. ? Must hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey. ? Current DEA registration. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
