We're seeking an individual with a strong background in commercial and industrial printing, who is ready to take on the challenges and rewards of supervising our 2nd shift team. This Permanent role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology and a team of dedicated professionals. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills with a background working with Heidelberg, KBA, Komori, MAN Roland, large format press 7-color, 64 inch, 40 inch, and UV ink. Responsibilities:As the Printing Supervisor for the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our printing operations during your shift. You will ensure that work is completed on time and meets our high-quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing the operation of our Large format press, 7-color, 64 inch printing systems.2. Managing the use of commercial and industrial printing ink, including UV ink.3. Supervising and supporting a team of Pressmen, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.4. Coordinating with other shift supervisors to ensure a smooth transition of work.5. Monitoring and maintaining quality control standards.6. Troubleshooting any technical or operational issues that arise.7. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Printing Supervisor position will have a strong background in commercial and industrial printing, with specific expertise in the technologies and systems we use. Key qualifications include:1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the printing industry.2. Extensive experience with one of the systems - Heidelberg, KBA, Komori, MAN Roland, Large format press, 7-color, 64 inch, and 40 inch systems.3. Proficiency in the use of commercial and industrial printing ink, including UV ink.4. Proven ability to lead and manage a team of Pressmen.5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7.
