Crazy Crepe Cafe and MELTology are expanding our family! With four locations in Suffolk County, our goal is to serve Long Islanders tasty crepes with a fun, clean experience. We also feature a variety of other offerings including a unique catering experience, amazing fruit gifts and a lot more.If you know customer service, have a positive attitude and enjoy a teamwork environment, we want to meet you!***Must be able to work nights and weekends***** Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license **You will be responsible for assisting the store manager in:Maintaining fast, accurate service and ensuring great customer relations - making sure our guests leave happyFood Cost Control - weekly inventory management and ordering. Ensuring all recipes are being adhered to.Training and hiring - interview crew and staff candidates, set up orientations, one on one training with new employeesMaintain restaurant cleanliness standardsAssist with finding ways to increase profitability and increase our offerings.Participate in team and company meetingsOn a daily/shift basis:Oversee shift operations - ensure checklists are complete, form food prep lists and plans, ensure staff are productive and that procedures are done correctlyGreet and welcome customersTake food orders, distribute completed ordersComplete transactions and maintain cash management systemsAssist in food production, cooking, preparation of beverages, cleaningMaintain a clean work environmentReport issues to operations manager or ownerRunning an opening or closing shift overseeing 2 to 4 other employees.This is a hands on full time position with hours between 45 and 50 per week, day and night shifts and with overtime. Weekend availability is required but our schedule is very flexible to allow for time off as needed. Holidays are mandatory but we are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving day. Base pay starts $18-19 hourly to $28 overtime hourly, and increases.
