Title: HR Assistant Location: Irving, TX Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Description: Terms of Employment -- W2 Contract, 12 Months -- Location: Onsite in Irving, TX Overview -- The client is seeking a Onboarding/Hiring HUB Representative to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for administrative tasks related to generating offer letters and awaiting acceptance, initiate Pre-Employment -- Investigations and activating systems for building future tasks and deliverables. Additional duties include answering incoming inquiries via telephone, email, or text messages from internal and external customers. Responsibilities -- Reviews applications for completeness, generates offer letters, awaits offer acceptance notifications from the new hire or the recruiter, and initiates Pre-Employment steps including the background check and drug test -- Solves problems and completes work by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, reports and analytical skills. -- Works in a high volume transaction and pressure environment with minimal supervision -- Utilizes organizational systems and Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate and complete documentation of actions and tasks completed. -- Maintains confidentiality of information and only view need to know information -- Performs job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service -- Processing transactions within PeopleSoft utilizing case studies, desktop procedures and other tools. -- Processing and completing tasks within Taleo to ensure all requirements are documented and completed. -- Answering a broad range of questions related to the Onboarding process -- Partners with Staffing and Recruiting, Enterprise Security Shared Services, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and Management to successfully onboard candidates in a timely fashion as well as meet regulatory and company requirements. -- Processes new hires, re-hires, career initiated transfers, and college interns -- Communicates Onboarding requirements to new-hires and/or transferring employees, managers, and recruiters, through many methodologies. -- Reviews applications for completeness, generates offer letters, sends offer acceptance notifications to the recruiter, and initiates pre-employment steps including the background check and drug test -- Solves problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, reports and analytics. -- Answers a broad range of questions related to the Onboarding process -- Processes new hires, re-hires, career initiated transfers, and college interns. Job Requirements:Required Skills & Experience ----Bachelor---s degree or a high school diploma and 4 years' of experience in processing new hires and internal transfers ----Ability to abide by the assigned work schedule and work a variety of shifts to support business needs across multiple time zones ----Previous Human Resource experience in the recruiting or onboarding arena Preferred Skills & Experience ----Experience using telephony systems and case management systems such as Heat or ServiceNow ----Experience using a texting system such and TextRecruit ----Experience utilizing PeopleSoft (working knowledge) or Workday ----Experience with Taleo or Workday applicant tracking system ----Previous experience interacting with customers in a call center/ service center environment.
