Job Description:

Required Qualifications: 8 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years focused on data visualization . Proficiency in React.js and Deck.gl (including Layers, Views, and integration with Carto). Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6), HTML/CSS, and rendering pipelines (WebGL, Canvas). Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., D3.js, Lodash) and working with APIs or large datasets. Familiarity with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, TopoJSON, tilesets) and coordinate systems. Experience leading engineering projects or small teams. Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with design systems, Figma or Storybook. Background in geographic information systems (GIS) or urban data. Familiarity with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (Vite, Webpack). Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization tools. Prior experience in fast-paced agile environment.
