Job Description:
At Lockheed Martin, a global leader in aerospace and defense
technologies, we are currently seeking a seasoned Sr. Software
Engineer to join our IT & Data Management team. This role focuses
on developing and enhancing mission-critical software applications
that guarantee the security and efficiency of our various aerospace
and defense projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong
background in software development, a thorough understanding of
data systems, and a commitment to ethical practices and teamwork in
accordance with Lockheed Martins core standards. Design, develop,
and maintain software systems that meet mission-specific
requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate
systems and technologies. Test and implement code using best
industry practices. Document software development and ensure
compliance with company and security standards. Participate in peer
reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Assist in the
planning and forecasting of project timelines. Proficient in C++,
Java, or Python. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
and embedded systems. Strong understanding of software security
practices. Ability to manage databases and perform data
integration. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git,
and Docker. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance

(CSDP) or similar. Security clearance (or ability to obtain it) is
highly beneficial.
