Job Description:
At Lockheed Martin, as an AI Machine Learning Engineer, you will
be pivotal in advancing our commitment to cutting-edge technology
and security. The AI Machine Learning Engineer role involves
crafting, developing, and implementing algorithms that
significantly influence both tactical and strategic defense
systems. Working within our dedicated Data Science & AI department,
you will collaborate closely with other engineers and scientists to
design intelligent systems that enhance our capabilities in the
aerospace, defense, and military sectors. Your role will directly
contribute to the company's mission in maintaining national
security, upholding the high ethical standards, inclusivity, and
teamwork for which Lockheed Martin is known. Develop and deploy
machine learning algorithms tailored to meet defense-specific
needs. Collaborate with software and systems engineers to integrate
AI technologies. Conduct rigorous validation and testing of machine
learning models to ensure robustness and reliability. Stay updated
with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to propose
and implement improvements. Participate in interdisciplinary teams
to define project scopes and objectives, ensuring alignment with
business goals. Document all phases of research and development for
regulatory compliance and future reference. Proficient in Python,
R, or similar programming language. Experience with machine
learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Understanding of
advanced machine learning techniques and their real-world
advantages/drawbacks. Expertise in data manipulation and
visualization tools. Strong problem-solving abilities and
capability to work autonomously. Knowledge of cybersecurity
principles relevant to machine learning and AI. Medical Insurance
