Fidelity Investments, a premier global financial services firm, is seeking a Vice President of Trading Engineering to join our IT & Data Management team. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the development and execution of advanced trading platforms and algorithms that support our strategic objectives in asset management. The role involves collaborative interaction with cross-functional teams to innovate and deploy scalable trading solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals while maintaining superior standards of compliance and operational risk management. Oversee the strategic planning and execution of trading technology initiatives. Lead a team of engineers and developers in the design, deployment, and maintenance of trading systems. Collaborate with various stakeholders to align trading technology solutions with business strategies. Manage budget, resource allocation, and project timing for trading systems developments. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. Analyze market trends to continuously improve and innovate trading solutions. Facilitate the integration of new technology and processes into existing systems. Expertise in financial markets and electronic trading systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in algorithmic trading, machine learning, and data analysis. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong knowledge of software engineering and IT infrastructure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent is desirable. Relevant FINRA licenses are considered a plus.
