science, we’re in. Are you? About the Role: The Associate Director,
Clinical Counsel will provide legal support to the clinical
contracting team of the Legal Department in support of Insmed’s
clinical trial pipeline. The role will also provide administrative
support to the team as needed. What You'll Do: In this role you
will conduct the drafting, review, negotiation, of clinical trial
agreements, local representation agreements, informed consent
documents, and other documents required for legal, ethical and
compliant conduct of clinical trials by a biopharmaceutical
industry sponsor. You'll also: Provideday-to-day legal advice in
the review and negotiation of vendor contracts, including clinical
research organization agreements, master services agreements, and
confidential disclosure agreementsrelated to clinical development
and clinical operations activities to supporttimelyand compliant
initiation ofall phases ofclinical trial activities. Build
constructive working relationships with clientbaseandoperatesas an
active member ofLegal and client teams. Coordinateand
providingoversight of legal matters handled by outside counsel.
Provide Legal representative in clinical study team meetings.
Assistin partneringwith internal cross-functional stakeholders to
proactively apply legal and regulatory framework to business
activity by understanding business goals and developing alternative
solutions toassistin the achievement of successful outcomes.
Assistin data management of data points from the review and filing
of emails incentralemail inbox. Organization andfiling of clinical
contracts and relevant amendments inSharePoint. Preparation and
management of final execution of clinical contracts and relevant
amendments. Collaborate in the managementand tracking ofexecution
process of high volume of clinical contracts frominitialpreparation
through to execution (includingDocuSignand hard copy, where
applicable). Who You Are: You have a JD degree and bar admittance
in New Jersey (or eligibility for limited in-house license) and
aminimum2yearsrelated legal experiencerepresentinglife sciences
companiesin a law firm, a biopharmaceutical company, and/or a
contract research organization. Additionally, you have: Knowledge
innegotiation of clinical trial agreements,regulatory matters,
riskmanagementand contract management. Experience
incontract,clinical, FDA, and drug laws and regulations specific to
thebiopharmaceuticalindustry. Ability toidentify,strategizeand
respond to a broad range of issues related toclinical
development,clinicaloperationsand riskmanagement. Extensive ability
to stay abreast of new laws, regulations and industry trends that
may affect Insmed and clinicalobjectives. Analyze, interpret, and
apply government regulations, guidelines, and requirements. Skilled
with the ability toexercise good judgmentregardingthe
interpretation of policies, development of procedures,
andselectionofappropriate coursesof action.
Demonstratedadaptability and efficiency in a fast-paced work
environment. Willingness to lean in,collaborateand take direction.
Superiororal and writtencommunication and interpersonal skills.
Extensive ability to stay abreast of new laws, regulations and
industry trends that may affect Insmed and clinicalobjectives.
Where You’ll Work This is a fully remote role. It can be performed
effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your Insmed
team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or events
