Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney Established 30 Years Premier Firm Seeking Associate for General Liability Litigation in Iselin, NJ An established firm based in Iselin with over 30 years in practice is seeking an Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Attorney will have experience with general liability litigation, including commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability matters. Trial experience is preferred. Offer: $100,000-$160,000, contingent on experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Matching 401(k) Paid time off Mentorship opportunities Collaborative and welcoming work environment Work-life balance Qualifications: The candidate must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New Jersey. The candidate must have 2-5 years of general liability litigation experience. Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability is preferred. Trial experience is preferred. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software. The candidate must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities: The attorney will evaluate new files and maintain client communications. The attorney will handle discovery production and research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law. The attorney will prepare and argue discovery motions and substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals. The attorney will attend pretrial listings and participate in motions and trials.
