The Senior Workplace Integrity Manager role is part of the Novo
Nordisk Inc. Employee Relations and Workplace Integrity team and
will conduct investigations into complaints of harassment,
discrimination and retaliation along with other policy violations
for both internal and external complaints to the Company.
Additional scope of work includes conducting trend analysis and
partnering with stakeholders to develop appropriate action planning
to address areas of concern and conduct training as requested. The
Senior Manager will serve as an investigations and EEO subject
matter expert to collaborative partners and stakeholders, including
the Employee Relations team, HR Business Partners, business leaders
and employees. The Senior Manager leverages subject matter expert
understanding of the application of EEO and affirmative action
laws, regulations, concepts, and practices. Serves as a witness for
the Company in any related litigation, as necessary. Relationships
The Senior Workplace Integrity Manager role reports directly to the
Director – Employee Relations and Workplace Integrity and conducts
investigations into complaints of harassment, discrimination and
retaliation along with other policy violations for the Company. The
Sr. Manager may serve as a point of contact for employees to answer
questions related to EEO policies. This position will partner
closely with collaborative partners and internal
stakeholders/clients, including Employee Relations Managers, HR
Business Partners, line of business managers, affiliates, centers
of excellence, Employment Attorneys, the Legal Department, the
Compliance Department, and other relevant departments to ensure the
prompt and through investigation of all Employee Relations
complaints. Essential Functions Leads and/or supports internal and
external EEO related investigations, complaints and inquiries for
the Company in partnership with LegalDemonstrates subject matter
expert understanding of the application of EEO and affirmative
action laws, regulations, concepts, and practicesConducts thorough
and timely investigations into discrimination, harassment,
retaliation, and other allegations of unfair treatment based on
legally protected categories or as otherwise included in Novo
Nordisk polices. These will range from routine to complex and
include interviewing Company personnel as a neutral fact finder,
reviewing personnel documents, and analyzing employee data in a
timely mannerPrepares written reports and summary of findings, with
supporting documentation, that are fair, impartial and represent
the facts, and analyze information to determine whether the facts
suggest an employee was subjected to a violation of policyEnsure
all cases are appropriately entered and tracked in the case
management systems in a timely and accurate mannerDemonstrates
sound judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive
informationProvides investigation findings to relevant stakeholders
including Employment Law attorneys, Employee Relations Manager,
HRBPs, and the appropriate Line of BusinessLiaises with relevant
stakeholders, including line of business leadership, Legal and
Employee Relations leadership, and HR to convey any and all HR
related concerns resulting from investigationsConducts research and
analysis in partnership with Legal to provide insight into
environmental trends as it relates to internal and external EEO
complaintsEnsures proactive engagement with Employment Law
Attorneys, HR Business Partners and all other relevant partners on
all investigationsEnsures consistent interpretation and application
of Novo Nordisk’s EEO policies, concepts, and practices, in all
aspects of the employment relationship and related to ER
investigations and related mattersParticipates in the design,
development, and delivery of Novo Nordisk policy and EEO training
initiativesBuilds strong partnerships with HR Business Partners,
Employment Law, Compliance, Risk and Accountability, and all
internal partners to foster trust and accountability Physical
Requirements 10-20% overnight travel required. Qualifications A
Bachelor 's degree required. Juris Doctorate law degree, or
Advanced Degree from an accredited college, university, or graduate
program, preferredA minimum of five (5) years of experience
conducting workplace, EEO, employment and labor, Title VII, or
human resource investigations of discrimination, harassment,
retaliation and other policy or legal violations, or other relevant
investigations experience requiredExperience in interview
techniques, principles and procedures of record keeping and
reporting, research techniques and data collection and analysis
relating to Employee Relations and/or EEO activities
requiredExperience in preparing written reports and summaries of
findings relating to human resource, EEO, or personnel matters,
including review of policy violations, performance, and/or conduct
concerns requiredAn expert understanding of policies, procedures,
and federal legislation related to employment practices, including
but not limited to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, DOL regulations, EEO
Compliance and related employment laws is requiredExperience
working in a confidential setting, maintaining appropriate
confidentiality and discretion, and exercising sound judgment in
safeguarding confidential and sensitive information is
requiredExcellent oral and written communication skills, including
the ability to successfully communicate with managers, leaders, and
employees at all levelsExperience in researching, analyzing and
applying federal and state laws relating to discrimination,
harassment, and retaliation, preferredExperience in providing
counseling and advice in employment and labor or human resource
matters based on understanding of EEO laws, policies, and
guidelines preferredHighly self-motivated to perform investigations
independentlyEmployment and labor law civil litigation experience a
plusEmployee Relations and/or Labor Relations experience a plus,
but not requiredExperience performing detailed work with accuracy
for a variety of audiencesDemonstrated ability to effectively
organize and manage a high-volume workload and complex
prioritiesProven ability to think strategically and effectively

capability and the ability to analyze large amounts of information
to interpret laws and apply them to various situationsBusiness
acumen and reliability The base compensation range for this
position is $120,300 to $222,600. Base compensation is determined
based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a
company bonus based on individual and company performance. Novo
Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company
vehicles depending on the position's level or other company
