**www.veolia.com**Job DescriptionYou'll be part of a specialized
team working closely with project managers and other technical
groups to set up and run data-driven environmental compliance
programs that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable planet. The
position will serve a core role in the function of Veolia's
compliance and operations database system, HachWIMs. The position's
performance and work products will be highly-visible to senior
management and is intended to be held by highly-motivated
candidates.The candidate will work directly with water and
wastewater operations staff across North America to resolve
HachWIMS functional issues and maintain current databases. They
will collaborate with the vendor, technology teams, and end-users
to roll out version updates, establish integrations to other
applications including data visualization tools, and improve
overall product offerings.As a member of the Water Quality and
Environmental Compliance team within Veolia's Contract Operations
business, he/she will be dedicated to advancing the environmental
compliance and operational best practices of Veolia. The role may
support other technical missions across Veolia such as piloting and
deployment of innovative process technologies and assisting with
new business due diligence. The candidate will promote and model,
through self-practice and encouragement in fellow employees,
Veolia's professional, community, and marketing
involvement.**Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of
Responsibilities:**+ Responsible for the development, plant
operational data management system, HachWIMs.+ Under guidance of
supervisory specialists, build and monitor operational management
control systems, performance metrics and reporting systems to
monitor facility operations.+ Supports the evaluation of the
operation and performance of water and wastewater treatment
facilities, drives implementation of recommended improvements.+
Assist with the development of training documents, Standard
Operating Procedures and related materials for operational database
users and for process control systems.+ Ensure the State and
Federal sampling plans are accurate.+ Responsible for the
maintenance of a compliance tracking mechanism.Qualifications**Core
Requirements**+ 2- or 4-year college diploma in a technical field
(computer science, mathematics, engineering, etc). Operational
certification/licensure in drinking water or wastewater treatment,
and/or experience with environmental regulatory reporting is a
plus.+ 2 years of overall experience in data management/analytics,
preferably working with drinking water or wastewater treatment
plants, or other processes/facilities (e.g. industrial waste
treatment) that are governed by Federal or State environmental
