Construction/Remediation We are looking for a pro-active, career
focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client---s team.
The TA Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective
recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of
qualified and capable talent for the organization. This is a full
life cycle recruiting position, to include new hire orientation and
onboarding tasks. What the Talent Acquisition Specialist is
responsible for: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases
of the recruitment process. Collaborates with department managers
to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and
hiring criteria. Identifies and implements efficient and effective
recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role,
industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Responsible
for job posting and advertisement processes. Leverages social media
to attract new talent. Responsible for developing content and
building an employee brand on social media for recruitment
purposes. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions
and other hiring and selection materials. Conduct interviews with
managers, when applicable and manage hiring process for off site.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource
staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary
ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
and regulations, and company policies. Organize and attend job
fairs and recruiting events. (in the future) Performs other duties
as assigned. What experience we are looking for: Associates degree
or higher 1-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience. Relevant
industry experience in construction and/or labor related fields
desired. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for
recruitment for a variety of roles. Hands on experience with job
boards, sourcing tools, and/or social media outreach. Familiarity
with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and
recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn
applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PP, and
Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
(Must) Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to
meet deadlines. Additional nice to haves: Bachelor---s degree
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification SHRM---s Talent Acquisition
Specialty Credential a plus. Bilingual (Spanish/English) --- both
