Job Description:

*Job Summary*: Develop, administer and maintain human resource related policies and tasks, such as employee onboarding, payroll, trainings, wellness programs, employee benefits, leaves of absence, crafting policies, etc.

*Responsibilities of essential functions include: *

1. Assist in talent acquisition, recruitment, retention, and termination process
2. Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding, trainings, and development initiatives
3. Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, performance, grievances, etc.
4. Assists in updating job descriptions and job requirements for all positions and ensuring compliance with all labor, local, state and federal laws and regulations
5. Assists with the development and maintenance of training materials and training log
6. Processes timely and accurate payroll
7. Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire, interview process, and employee turnover rates
8. Organize and coordinate quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
9. Analyze wage reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
10. Ensure the organization's company-wide compliance with EEOC, labor, local, state, and federal regulations
11. Maintain employee records and personnel files with up-to-date information regarding benefit programs, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations

12. Administer and track benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, vacation, paid time off, sick leave, leave of absence, disability and oversee related policies

13. Investigate and assess claims of discrimination/harassment and/or other employment related legal issues or concerns and recommend to manager and/or executive management and implement conclusions.

14. Monitor, assess and develop appropriate risk management strategies regarding individual and group related work issues

15. Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks, benefits, and organizing team building activities

16. Represent the interest of the company regarding employment legal issues, under direction of Legal
Council

17. Create, improve and administer HR policies and procedures
18. Manage and maintain Employee Handbook
19. Ensure company policies and addendums to policies are clearly communicated and followed
20. Evaulate, recommend actions to management, and respond to company reviews on social media

21. Assist with acquiring outside services to provide HR needs, such as temporary employees, recruiting firms, or employee relocation assistance

22. Implement and develop programs related to benefits and initiatives for wellness
23. Negotiate cost of insurance and wellness plans in order to minimize expenses
24. Ensure workplace is accommodating and free of harassment, handling any complaint in accordance with company policy and any relevant laws

*Responsibilities of non-essential functions include: *
25. Maintain commitment to Quality Goals and Quality Policy
26. Complete adhoc jobs and tasks as assigned

*Job Requirements: *

1. Bachelor's Degree required

2. Minimum 2 years experience in HR field required

3. Proven experience as an HR Generalist required

4. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints required

5. Ability to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of job required

6. Experience with employment/labor and workplace harrassment law required

7. Ability to understand and apply mathematical concepts to practical situations required

8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

9. Effective verbal and written communication skills required

10. Aptitude in problem solving required

11. Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach required

12. Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance, safety, onboarding, terminating, employee teamwork, collaboration, and relations required; ability to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations required

13. Experience with outsourced payroll systems preferred

14. Experience with human resources information system (HRIS) preferred

15. Strong human relation, and interpersonnel skills preferred

16. Ethical, honest, and dependable

17. Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, researching and negotiation skills

18. Driven self-starter, reliable, and responsible

19. Organized, accurate, and thorough

20. Positive, confident, and friendly demeanor with high level of integrity

21. Proactive and able to make effective decisions

22. Work well under pressure, tight deadlines, and maintain composure in difficult situations

23. Work independently with minimal or no supervision

24. Actively follow changing legislation and make improvements accordingly
