Administrator reports directly to the Director - Supply Chain
Management and is responsible for assisting the Regulated SCM
Contracts team with legal terms and conditions negotiations. This
includes negotiation and administration of contracts.PRIMARY DUTIES
/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Contract Administrator provides the full range of
Procurement services which includes but is not limited to provision
of subcontract resources;
- Document Control and technical writing capabilities to ensure
professional, comprehensive, and standardized documentation of
policies, procedures, guides, templates, directions, plans,
studies, contract amendments, training material, and correspondence
to include systems for efficient security, archiving and revision
control;
- Assist SCM Contracts Team with composing, drafting, and editing
(red-lining) vendor agreements and other various documents;
- Draft and revise contract wording where appropriate while
assessing risk and providing recommendations to stakeholders and
counsel with the goal of protecting the company's interests;
- Assist with regulatory requests and other ad hoc projects as
necessaryQualificationsEducation / Experience / Background
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Legal or Paralegal
Studies
- At least 4 (four) years of experience performing contract
management, negotiation and drafting, and other related legal
support functions
- Experience negotiating and drafting contract or agreement
terms
- Basic knowledge of contract law, types of contracts, terms and
conditions, legal requirements, and the negotiation process
- Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures
preferred.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Attention to detail in composing and proofing professional
business materials
- Able to prioritize in a dynamic, exciting, fast-paced working
environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and excellent time
management
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and written and
verbal communications skills (including spelling and
